mini project # 6: desk containers

i've shown you guys before what i have stored in these 2 boxes that live at my desk. i also have a 3rd container that houses cords, pens, a letter opener and calculator. after processing all 3 containers, i was left with 4 blank cds (2 of which i have no idea where they came from or how they ended up in my stash--musical acts that i've never heard of). the other 2 were promptly labeled and archived. i cannot tell you how good it feels to go through my stuff and get rid of the dead weight. it's so easy and manageable in little pieces. you should try it--asap.

friday afternoon and mini project #4

going through all of my magazines is turning out to be more than a quick, 20 minute project. while i only have about 20 magazines (domino, dwell and elle decor) i've decided to rip out everything that i like (catalog it in my inspiration binder) and toss the rest. the hard part is going to be putting each page in a plastic sleeve... but honestly, it's kind of a fun project. now all of my inspirational tid bits will be searchable. except for my 3 organize magazines. i can't bear to rip those up!
