a free template online for creating a home inventory spreadsheet. found on vertex42 (the guide to everything excel) the template lists all the things you'll want to capture for creating a master list to store on your computer, online (as well as on an external hardrive). its a priceless tool if something ever happens to your home and everything is destroyed. believe me, your insurance agent will be very impressed that you have all the deets to your prized possessions.
