CEOs and Fun Facts

I was catching up on my reading today with Fortune's 40 under 40 list.  It's a who's who of successful business-minded folks (all who are under 40).  I noticed that a few of the select folks have quirks that help with organizing or efficiency...
Fun Fact: Even though they co-founded Google, they still share an office (just goes to show you, you don't need to have a large space all to yourself.  Teamwork is often a great predictor of top job performance.

Jason Kilar how I love you!  He's the CEO of Hulu (thanks to Hulu, I'm addicted to a show about addicts--better known as Intervention).
Fun Fact:  Jason owns 15 of the same shirts, jeans and dress shirts (he really is after my own heart--I love a uniform!)

James Murdoch, Chairman and CEO of News Corp. in Europe and Asia
Fun Fact: the article reports that James raised the legs of his desk to let him work and use his computer standing up. (hey--if it makes you more productive, get 'er done!)

  1. michael milken's notorious x-shaped trading desk allowed him maximum access to everybody who worked with him, as well as allowed him to see everybody in the room. i don't know about now, but as a trader he said he never had a private office. go team ... prison! but boy has he made up for it. we'll all owe him a massive debt of gratitude when the cancer code is officially cracked.
