all i can say is wow. one of these homes is only 40 feet wide--talk about maximizing vertical space. listen (or read) the entire story on NPR.

efficiency expert? yes please!

10:35. latest post ever. thats ok though. i've been busy all day with clients who i love working with and doing apartment therapy posts since the second i walked in the door this eve. but before i got home, i was listening to npr while i was sitting in traffic. they had a story on an efficiency expert (my ears perked up immediately). companies hire these folks to shave seconds off of workers everyday tasks (which add up overtime). it is a fascinating listen and i won't do it any justice by going on about it anymore. you must hear for yourself!
