just the other day, i suggested to someone to use bookmarks on their laptop instead of keeping the paper article. this individual worried that if their computer was ever stolen, they'd loose all that important information. enter x marks. it's a free download to store your bookmarks on the world wide web. you can also easily email and share your bookmarks with friends. wicked!

I've never heard of xmarks, but I'm a longtime user of "social bookmarking" with delicious! I have three or four years' work of saved links, all searchable by tags that I created.
