i finally got around to putting my chalkboard wall in the kitchen to use! so far, just using it for inspirational sayings and funny drawings but i'm dying to start writing lists.
hi. im also interested in putting up a chalkboard somewhere in the house for reminders, etc. my concern is: does using chalk produce dust or do you have a special kind of chalk?
I haven't encountered much dust but there is chalk residue that falls onto the baseboard when you write on it (easily wiped clean with a damp cloth). It also depends on how often you're going to be using it (ours still looks the same as the picture above:) ps; just regular school chalk
I'm a Professional Organizer living in Echo Park. I also contribute daily to Apartment Therapy, Los Angeles. In my spare time I play the drums for a local band called Kissing Cousins.
